"The Jams Board for me is where it all started. There's me the first day I get on the web finding like minded ppl, who like UB40 and don't consider it odd watching a film just cos they sing a song, or staying up late to hear them. And suddenly feeling part of a family, and chatting about UB40 with ppl that don't roll their eyes."

"UB40 represent everything about the era that I grew up i n-- high unemployment, riots and very low prospects. But here's a band that have stayed together through all the years  and produced some fantastic music. And they're still filling houses even today."

"This is always so difficult ,but we'll say currently, cos this new album ,Cover Up, is gonna take the music world by storm. And if it doesn' t, sack VIRGIN. 'Guns in the Ghetto', that song first time I heard it ,moved me. And ppl that know me will know I'm not an emotional person. So that deserves number 1 for actually finding my feelings. LOL 'Forget the Cost', space exploration, who needs it, nuff said. And 'Kingston Town', cos it's the only song I can sing at karaoke half decently...."

"Fantastic most decent bunch of ppl you could ever meet. My first fanfest ,although slightly worse for wear, was amazing. Everyone having fun, and just laughter the whole time. Same again with this one just went to. Special mentions to many but the usual suspects have to be mentioned: Reza, Joolz, Cookie, Wildcat, Mia & Nigel. And of course without it all this wouldn't have been Sis, Pappa and GG. And to the rest I missed, it's not intentional, I think you're all amazing, awwwwww."

"At one point this chat was bringing up to 25 + ppl. I have to say not been on for a while, family commitments and the such. But when I was there, sis with her trout were also there (and I still have no idea why) . It's a really good place for real time chat and to get to know ppl. Even Brian made it there a few times."
