REZA'S THOUGHTS ON :
THE JAMS BOARD
"If it weren't for this medium I'd have thought that I was the only crazy UB fan around. But more importantly it has brought me together with some of the nicest people i've ever met..and that's what the board is all about....friendship."
UB40
"What does one say about UB40's music? They just keep going strong. I learnt about these boys back in 1979, when at the time there were uprisings in South Africa by school kids, like myself, who protested against the apartheid system and unfair education systems in the country. At the same time a group of Brummies emerged as a band called UB40 and released an album which was quite critical of universal oppression. This was the music which we immediately identified with and as the cliche goes ...'the rest is history'."
BEING A UB40 FAN
"Well being a fan has allowed me to fulfill life long dreams of meeting the band in my own country and also given me the opportunity to make new friends from all over the world. That is the part that I like most of being a UB fan."
MUSIC
"UB40 is the only band I listen to except for LEVEL 42, SIMPLY RED and sometimes other artists like Marley, Starks and Yazz."

THE JAMS POSSE/BBB
"Well the folk i met here I called the BBB and to say that I love 'em to the maximum is an understatement. It was an amazing first meeting for all of us when we met to stage the first UB FANFEST in May 1998. Each so different in culture and origin yet so together when it came to the friendship made over long distance technology.A second fest was held in April 1999 and more people joined the posse. Again, it was inspiring to meet others with similar interests."
#UBJams CHAT
"This is a healthy, weekly get together of friends who sometimes speak about the UB's but in most cases not. The chat allows us to keep in touch in 'real time' mode. Let's call it a sanity saving intervention."
