"Being from Birmingham I've been fortunate enough to have maximum exposure to UB40 and have grown up with their music. Our local DJ, Tammy Gooding was talking about a sense of ownership that Brummies feel over UB40 and it's really true simply because they've got such a presence and there's always someone related to them around - I was at school with Lisa Travers and my cousin is now at school with Matt Campbell! A lot of my family are fans too so that's assured a constant flow of UB40 albums around the place for as long as I can remember."
